wenn ich hier mal was schreibe, dann bin ich wirklich verzweifelt und einem reinstall vom System sehr nahe .....

und zwar:
ich habe ein paket deinstalliert, was ich nicht wirklich benötige...
und habe im eifer nicht geschaut, was für abhängigkeiten an dem paket mit dranhängen...schnell auf deinstallieren, reboot....

das Paket deutsche language packs weg, Locales weg und kann beide nicht installieren, da auch Glibc weg ist....alles untereinander abhängig....

bei Kpackage ist das paket nur als doc vorhanden, ansonsten nichts weiter....

bei apt sagt er eben, das er sowas nicht findet

also, via google habe ich schon gesucht....
auch die FTP site von ubuntu...

nur haben die dateien so "komische" anhänge wie "diff" zum beispiel...deswegen bin ich nicht der meinung (gewesen) als wären das die "normalen" deb packete...

synaptic und kpackage finden nach der suche glibc nur die doc


was soll die diff bezwecken?
und dann gibt es die glibc_2.3.5.orig.tar.gz
aber wie so oft bekomme ich diese sachen nicht oft installiert etc. *schäm* (weiß, das es eigentlich nicht schwer ist)

deswegen habe ich auch als deb packet gesucht....


das mit der CD bin ich gerade noch dran .... bin mal gespannt, was da so alles drauf ist :-)

habe auch schon einen ordner namens glibc auf der Disc gefunden....aber der inhalt sind libc6 ?
wie darf ich das jetzt verstehen?
sind sämtliche libc packete zusammengefasst als GLIBC??
bin im moment nicht auf der Linux-Ebene




btw: beim versuch das tar zu installieren:
/glibc-2.3.5/glibc-2.3.5$ ./configure

denke mal, das das mit dem befehl configure ok ist, aber was da als error kommt, verstehe ich schon, weiß es nur nicht umzusetzen

aber das mit dem mkdir steht dort auch....
nur wo soll ich dann ./configure ausführen?
in dem neuen ordner sagt er ja, er findet nicht, im source ordner sagt er ja, in einem anderen ordner ausführen.........
stehe da auf dem schlauch :-(
