ICQ unter Ubuntu und mounting local filesystem

Hallo,

ich habe bereits erfolgreich den TS2-Client installiert^^... nun möchte ich licq installieren. Ich benutze Ubuntu 5.10...

Ich habe es mir heruntergeladen, aber komme irgendwie nicht weiter. Vielleicht war das Aus versehen die Quellcode-Version??? Kann mir jmd. einen Link schicken, wo ich es runterladen kann und wie ich es installiere??

Und:
Beim Start von Ubuntu kommt bei "Mounting local filesystems" ein Fehler... bzw. Fehlgeschlagen oder so ähnlich... es läuft trotzdem alles. Ist das schlimm? Was kann ich dagegen tun?
Vielen Dank schonmal im Vorraus!

hast du das installationstool unter
- system - systemverwaltung - anwendungen installieren -
schon gesehen?

licq eingeben, search-button drücken, haken setzen, apply && be happy

... so sollte das eigentlich gehen

Jetzt auch noch ein Win-Fehler

...

Ich bin jetzt mal wieder unter win xp rein und habe den Datenträger, wo ich auch Ubuntu auf einer anderen Partition installiert habe schnellformatiert.
Seit dem kommt irgendwie kein Programm außer dem IE und MSN in's Internet.... Was soll ich machen?!??! Ich verzweifel.... ich will nicht formatieren, weil das immer so ein Riesenaufwand ist,....

Habe auch schon alle Programme neu installiert... nützt nix... :(

Ja, glaube ich auch, meine Fesplatte ist so eingeteilt:

- C - Windows NTFS
- F - Partition1: NTFS für Programme | Partition2: Linux (ext3 glaube ich) | Partition3: Swap für Linux

Also hat Linux eigentlich ÜBERHAUPT keinen Zugriff auf Windows...

hab ich das richtig verstanden:?:
.. du hast ubuntu auf einer externen platte/datentraeger installiert - und auf dieser hast du noch eine windows-[ntfs]-partition?

mit "fdisk -l" kannst du dir eine uebersicht ueber die partitionen verschaffen

mit "fdisk -l" kannst du dir eine uebersicht ueber die partitionen verschaffen

Ja, das hast du richtig verstanden... Es ist praktisch so eingeteilt:

C: Windows und ein paar Programme
D: Eigentlich nix
E: Auch nix^^
F: Programme NTFS | SWAP für Ubuntu | ext3 Ubuntu System
L: Externe Festplatte FAT32 (Das ist wahrscheinlich das USB-Device)

hi icecream,

fuehre unter linux die beiden kommandos
# fdisk -l
und
# cat /etc/fstab
aus - und poste die ausgabe
[der windowsbuchstabensalat ist nicht sehr hilfreich]
